A key skill in almost any aspect of graphic design is the ability to compose a layout, arranging content in a way that communicates effectively. Being able to craft a layout and format type is fundamental to creating successful pieces of design.

The brief was to create a double page spread for a print magazine, Design Jam, that is inspired and informed by Jurriaan Schrofer's work. The spread needed to apply the principles of paragraph formatting, advanced typographic detailing, and page architecture.
